These classes will cover the lending process from reading a Good Faith Estimate to Credit & Credit Repair.  Government bond programs, downpayment assistance programs, House Key, USDA Rural, Columbia Non Profit, etc., are some of the loan programs that are gone over, including on how to qualify for them.  A lender will also discuss choosing the right loan program for you, and what you need to get started.

Also discussed, and covered is the entire real estate process including the difference between Buyer's agent  & Listing agents, finding a home, the offer process, earnest money, escrow, inspections, insurance, appraisals,  home warranties, foreclosures, builders, and so much more!

Free First Time Home Buyer Classes, taught in accordance with the Washington Housing Finance Commission, are being held at the Woodland Middle School  with Woodland Community Education (225-9510) , at the Vancouver YMCA (885-9622), at various fire stations throughout the Clark County region, at the Jim Parsley Center, at Firstenburg Community Center, ESD Admin Center, Covington Middle School, Pacific Middle School, King Elementary, and at Roosevelt Elementary.  For Upcoming Dates, Times, and Locations, Please click on the UPCOMING CLASSES LINK.  These classes are six hours long, and are qualifying classes for the WSHFC House Key Certificate, which you will receive at the end of the class.  These classes are always at NO CHARGE, and are non-promotional!
